I also have one of the books in almost te same condition as the one you described above, minus the bend. Also have some of the “Little Blue Book” editions; (#’s 95,287, 561, 679, 1010, 1184, & 1740). Question is, can you possibly email me with anything that may lead me in the right direction of finding the value of them and possibly selling them? Thanks so much for your help! My daughter recently bought one of these LIFE booklets at a yard sale. Can you tell me how to verify that it was published in 1883 and not a reprint that was published later as I read on another site?
